On Wednesday night, volunteers gathered at the Bryan House Garden to harvest several more delicious vegetables! The day was finally cooling off and we were able to accomplish a lot during our two hour work day.
We harvested 9 pounds of cucumbers, 3 pounds of yellow onions, and 1 pound of arugula. This brings our grand total to 25 pounds of garden produce!
The volunteers enjoyed taking home their share of produce and will report back on how they made use of this harvest. I plan on pickling my share of cucumbers and onions — stay tuned for pictures and a recipe!
