We had another great morning with the Prep School Academy kids today. A group of children came out to the garden in early June to help harvest mustard greens and learn a little about growing food. This morning, a different group of children came out in the early heat to have some fun!
When the kids arrived at the garden today, they each received a small bag of seeds that corresponded to a vegetable or herb currently growing in the garden. As we walked around, the kids guessed which seeds produced which plants and were thrilled with the diversity and unpredictability of nature. Who knew tomato seeds were fuzzy!?
